This game will certainly not be remembered as a classic, but we will take the win. The backline did well with the wet ball and attacked the advantage line well. Matthew Redman ran well into holes with good showing of the ball. This allowed Paul Hendry to run off him and cross the advantage line. The forwards took the ball up well on occasions, but their rucking let them down, thereby conceding some turnover ball at the breakdown. This team has great potential and will always give their best. Paul Hoogwerf scored in the corner after some good handling skills and Paul Hendry scored the second try. Stuart Boliter had a good day with the boot, converting one try and kicking 2 penalties.
