I was looking forward to this game, as I truly believe that this side has what it takes to beat any team. I was let down badly by a lack of self-belief and plain guts on the field. So it’s back to the drawing board – literally. The team will meet Tuesday before practice to be shown basics on the board. Conceding a try where the coaches have shouted out to our defenders how to defend a basic 8-9-14-15 blind side move is very frustrating. You can’t defend your tryline by standing on the deadball line!! Forwards must learn how to defend the fringes of a maul and ruck and backs must communicate on defense.

Anyway, let’s move on and regroup for Saturday against Boland.
