   Well the cancellation of the Rondebosch games has been (very) beneficial. A very creative side to SACSRUGBY has been uncovered. Thank you for your two articles. Youare right this is the best game played on earth. Over here in the States, there is a woman’s rugby tournament, played each year on Cape Cod (near Boston) called the “Pink Ladies” tournament. All the players wear pink dresses. Mostly “saved” from Proms and brides-maid stints. In spite of the fun, the rugby played is intense. I am a throw-back to SACS rugby circa 1962, when I was coached by the great Doug Brown.

   Thanks for the comments Peter. I’m glad you’re staying up to date with your alma mater over there in the states. Let’s hope the “flu” doesn’t cause problems this coming week, as we have Bishops at home. Earlier this year, those games were cancelled due to excessive rain, so I could think of no worse situation than not getting a crack at Bishops at all this year. That would just be too much to handle. Thanks for the info on the women’s game. Keep visiting the site, as we intend to grow from strength to strengh.
