11a match report against RBPS

We played our second fixture of the term against RBPS at home on an overcast morning. Bosch won the toss and decided to kick off first putting us under pressure. This tactic worked in their favour and they scored in the corner after the first 5 minutes, which was not converted. We then changed our tactics and kept the ball tight amongst the forwards which paid off with Matthew Sharples scoring a great try which Oliver Finely successfully converted. We started to dominate possession but gave away to many penalties at the break down and Bosch capitalized on our mistakes scoring a goal on half time. Half time score 12/7 to Bosch. At half time Mr. Faure asked our forwards to up our aggression in the second half which we subsequently did resulting in Rayaan Hendricks scoring and Oliver again converting. From that moment on we continued to dominate possession and territory but sadly couldn’t convert this into points. Bosh then managed to score a further two tries with one conversion. The final score was 24/14 to Bosh.
