12a vs Bishops

The U12A game kicked off at 10:20am.  We were feeling nervous but excited and ready to take on the opposition.   It was drizzling lightly at the start and everyone was keen to get their hands on the ball and settle their nerves.

SACS applied a lot of pressure through the forwards and were unlucky to concede a run-away try after 5 minutes.  With good interplay between forwards and backs, SACS then scored twice through Sesh Chibale and Daniel Opperman. We conceded another try just before half time. (Half-time score 14-12 to Bishops).

During the early part of the second half SACS dominated up front and the backs made several lovely breaks.  SACS scored twice through Jordan v Schalkwyk and Ross Barrett.  Unfortunately we also conceded two tries – one being a 90m sprint from their fullback – and ended losing the tight and exciting match 26-24.
