16a vs Brackenfell

In 1stXV MATCH REPORTS, High School, Other Teams

A bitterly disappointing loss to a Brackenfell side who wanted it more and worked as a team to win it. Apart from the 3 well-worked team tries by Cassiem, Abrahams and Halvorsen, SACS did not seem interested in a team performance. This will need to change in the next 2 weeks when we come up against an energetic Wynberg team. SACS has the potential to disrupt Wynberg, but will need to work as 15 men to achieve this win. Although SACS has never beaten this Wynberg team at High school, they have drawn 3-3 in 2012. This is a game this team has been looking forward to all season and I am sure it will be one to watch next Saturday. Hopefully this team will get all it’s injured players back, although the replacements have certainly impressed, so this will give the coaches much to think about. A 16a vs 16b trial game on Thursday should help separate those keen to play as part of a team, and those interested in their own glory. We looking for team players!
