10a match report against Paarl Boys’

It was a freezing, but beautiful morning. A sign of things to come.

After a long trip for the u10 A’s to Paarl we faced an impressive

opposition. The nerves were high as we won the toss kicking down

the field. We were dominating in possession but were knocking on

the ball often. We fixed our mistakes and with great phase play

scored a try in the corner just before half time. Through a positive

team talk we played beautifully. We scored an uncoverted try

through hard work and then conceded one, which they converted!

10 – 7 to us. We didn’t give up and scored another innovative try,

which Hamish converted. The end score was 17-7 to SACS. Well done

team on a great win, every one of you contributed!
