10b match report against Fish Hoek
It was a beautiful, cold morning in Fish Hoek when we arrived to take on the Fish Hoek U10B’s. The game started with a bang as Finn Mackail scored two awesome tries for SACS in the first few minutes. Fish Hoek came back at us and scored three tries with their forwards to lead 15-10 at half time. In the second half, we were pushing hard at the rucks and making good ground to put Fish Hoek under pressure. Michael Schultz broke through the ruck to score a brilliant try and bring us level. We were looking good going into the last ten minutes and put in some big tackles. Unfortunately Fish Hoek managed to score two breakaway tries and the game ended with them winning 29-15.
We were disappointed to lose the game but felt like the team played well on both attack and defence, and we look forward to the next game.
Well played guys!
