11a vs WPPS

We started off against the wind and dominated in the first 14 minutes, without letting them see the ball.

The forwards rucked over the ball and the backline ran hard and straight, adhering to our coaches advice on “Line and Formation”.  In the first half, Michael Levitt scored three tries and Josh Fourie scored one try.

Three out of four of these tries were converted.  At the end of the first half, the score was 26-0 to Sacs.

We started off to a slow start in the first few minutes of the second half.  Western Province Prep rallied with strong defence but it was not enough to stop our momentum.  Michael Levitt scored another try which was converted by Devon Jearey.  They once again rallied with a strong defence and almost managed to score a try but Michael managed to slip past their defence and score a magnificent try, in the last minute,  which was converted by Thomas Newby.

The final score: 40-0

Mr Faure’s encouragement on energy and enthusiasm, really paid off! Well done on a solid, team performance!
