11a vs Wynberg
We kicked off up field ready for a good game against Wynberg. With the magnificent weather conditions and the hard play by the forwards and the back line, we managed to get onto their try line within the first few minutes. Michael Levitt managed to break through their defense and with some handing off, he managed to put the first few points on the board. The conversion was successful and the score was 7-0 to SACS. We kicked off and they came back strong. They managed to break through our defense and to score a try under the posts. This was converted which made the score even. They kicked off and we received a scrum. This scrum was in the middle of the of the field and it was the scrum of our lives! For the next 10 minutes the scrumming went on and the game was slow. The whistle blew and it was half time.
1st half = 7-7
They kicked off and we were strong. We were back on their try line and we scored. Sadly it was not converted. We kicked off and they played hard. We played harder and spread the ball down the line and Devon Jearey was able to make a run which resulted in a try. This was converted by Michael Levitt. They came back and they managed to score. The final whistle blew with a score of 19-14 to Sacs! It was a magnificent win.
