11c vs Bishops

On an overcast and cold Saturday morning, the U11C team came up against a very well organised Bishops team. We spent the first half of the game defending very well and only let through a single try. Coach Manual used the break to remind us of tackling lower and running through gaps. We started the second half 5 – 0 down and did what the coach asked and Rourk Cooper scored a good team try. After Roberto Gonzalles converted, we were 7 – 5 up. A couple of missed tackles lead to the second Bishops try, which was converted. In the last 10 minutes we passed the ball along the line to Luca Marshall who managed to score a try and level the score. Sadly, it wasn’t converted and the game ended in a draw. Well done to the boys.
