SACS lost 21-19

SACS U12A hosted Selborne on Thursday 19th June.  Selborne were on their WCape tour and unbeaten after games against Bishops and Rondebosch.

Selborne began well and scored 2 tries in the first 10 minutes.  We replied with a lovely backline try finished by Travis Lombard.  The half-time score was 14-5 to Selborne.

They scored first in the second half and opened a 21-5 lead.  The encouragement from the parents got SACS going and a determined Jordan MacDougall scored 2 tries – both converted.  The score was 21-19 and we had Selborne under pressure for the last 5 minutes.  Their defence was good enough and we were not able to score again.  They won a very close and exciting game.

Well played guys.
