13a match report against WPPS

On a tense Saturday morning we played a very strong Wet Pups side. They won the toss and decided to kick off. We started strong retaining the ball and building up useful phases, until we scored under the poles to complete a great all round try. They kicked off again and with strong and physical game play we got through again and scored in the corner. Just before half time they got through our defence  and scored a converted try.  Half time score 12-7 to SACS.

The second half started very strong with us scoring just a few minutes after the kick off. From then on it was all Wet Pups, with loose tackling we let them back into the game with the score line turning in their favour. After a pretty stern talk from the coaches we knew what we had to do for the next 15 minutes of the game. After a few strong tackles we had them under pressure running in 4 more tries. Final score 41-26 to SACS.
