15a match report against Bishops

This team sets themselves high standards and we would like to reach for the stars in terms of performance this year. With that in mind we were a bit disappointed with our start on Saturday.

Not for the 1st time this season we started poorly, lacking intensity on attack and making too many basic errors which prevented us from applying pressure and being able to score points.

In the 2nd half, playing against the wind, the boys woke up and started to take the game to Bishops. Credit must be given to the boys for their response after the halftime interval.

Although 21 – 5 is a comfortable win, we know that we must work hard this coming week for our upcoming fixture against a strong Rondebosch team.
