15c vs Paul Roos

On Saturday we knew we were going up against one of the toughest opposition teams of the season. We arrived early at Markotter and we were completely focused and ready to battle for the 8am kick-off. We kicked off and Paul Roos came at us hard. We made tackle after tackle and not once did they break our defensive line. The first half became very much a territory game and Augustine Pintos, our flyhalf, put in some solid touch-finders. Half Time score: SACS-0 Paul Roos-0. In the second half our backline could not manage to break their defense either and the game looked like it was going to end in a stale mate. In the last minutes of the match the lightning fast Paul Roos Fullback broke our line out wide and scored in the corner. Full Time score: SACS-0 Paul Roos-5. Even though we tasted defeat for the first time this season, I believe we can hold our heads high as we put in an excellent performance as a team.
