16a puts in a team effort against Sentraal

SACS turned on the heat today beating Sentraal 53 – 0. SACS started at a frenetic pace scoring two quick tries and not letting Sentraal play at all. The defence on the line was great and SACS determined to not concede tries. at 15 – 0 at half time, the coaches were worried about ringing the 8 eight changes too soon. After 5 minutes into the second half the subs started filtering on and score kept creeping up.

Difficult to judge our lineouts as we only had two which we won. The scrums were outstanding and put Sentraal under huge pressure.  All 23 players today showed the meaning of the word team. A great start to the Paarl Gim Festival.
