U10B match report vs. Worcester

We made the long trip to Worcester , on a sunny winter’s morning. It was chilly and while we waited for our game, the A team had built up a comfortable lead and were in control of their game. We knew our game would be tough, but were confident that we would do well. The game started at a high pace with some good bursts from both backs and forwards. Jamie Smit scored an early try, which settled our nerves. Worcester hit back with a try of their own soon after and it was only Josh Emslie’s conversion which kept us in the lead. We slipped a few tackles and for a while it looked like they would score again, but we tried to remain calm and slowly fought our way to their try line. We finally scored 2 quick tries and from there were in control of the game. We remain unbeaten and our blood remains blue. Well done team!
