11a match report vs Sun Valley

Our second last game of the term was against Sun Valley at a busy SACS campus. We were excited about this encounter and knew that if we played like we did against Wetpups we could win this game.  However, our opposition was not to be under estimated and Sun Valley scored within the first five minutes but missed the conversion. They continued to dominate possession and scored again missing the conversion.  We then managed to keep the ball in hand which resulted in Matthew Sharples pushing over the try line for our first try which Oliver Finley converted. Half time score 7/10 to Sun Valley. We started to dominate possession in the second half which resulted in some great running rugby with Jesse Voigt scoring. Sadly, Ollie just missed his first conversion in 18 attempts. We managed to defend really well on our 5 meter line and eventually stole the ball. A really great win for the team, lets take this momentum to our Wynberg game. Final score 12/10.
