11c match report against RBPS

In 1stXV MATCH REPORTS, Junior School, Other Teams

On the 30 of May the SACS team took on the Rondebosch side.   They had beaten us before so the pressure was on to get the revenge. The field was muddy thanks to the continuous rain we had the previous night. It was also cold so we went into the change rooms to warm up.

After a few minutes of warming up our coach came in and told us the game plan and gave us an inspirational talk.

We were receiving the ball so we chose it because we had been working on a secret move in practice. We got the ball and we did a scrum.   Very quickly our scrum half, took it out and we passed it down the line and finally we broke through their line of defense and scored a try. We were very happy after that and scored another two tries and converted both of them.

At half time our coach gave us a few tips.  Our goal was to score four more tries in the second half. We did that and we converted all but one and scored two more tries. The final score was 55-0 to SACS.

Well done to the SACS team for another great win.
