12a match report against RBPS
At 8:15 we were on the ball and warming up, ready for another big game. The conditions were wet, but luckily there was no rain. We lost the toss and started playing downhill and receiving. We knew it would be a tough game, but within 5 minutes, we were in their 22m.
After that, we lost possession and it led to an early try by the opposing team. The conversion was successful and with 18 minuets to go, we were down 7-0. We kicked off and with another quick start, Michael Levitt was able to score a try and convert it from the corner.
We were back in their 22m, but once again, we lost possession and this led to a try by Rondeboch. The score at half time was 12-7 to Rondebosh.

We started off strongly and within 9 minutes into the second half, Josh Fourie scored a try, thus evening out the score to 12-12. Soon afterwards, Michael Levitt scored his second try of the match and converted it. It was tough for a few minutes but eventfully Sacs got a penalty in their 5m and Alex Thomas was able to score next to the post. After Michael’s successful conversion the score was 26-12.
With 5 minutes to go, Sacs played extremely well which resulted in Adam Wilson scoring a try, which was not converted. The Sacs team had shown that they could come back from behind and with intense determination, the team is able to put up a good fight. Hopefully next week, we will be the leaders on the scoreboard, all the way!
