12a vs DPHS

SACS won 45 – 17

On 26th July SACS U12A played a well organised and determined DPHS team.  We began confidently and scored 2 tries within a few minutes.  Then their forwards began to play well and they scored a very good try.  We scored again before half time to lead 19-5.

Our coach told us to watch their rolling maul and to play wide but after half-time they managed to score another forward try.  When we played wide it was obvious that our team could score tries and we ran in 4 more tries during the second half.  Try scorers were Liam Dawson, Travis Lombard (2), Nathan Ansell, Robbie Baynham (2) and Nabiel Galmaldien.

Well done forwards for managing to deal with their good forward pack – and well done backs for scoring some wonderful tries.
