U13A Rugby Report

After a disappointing loss against Wet Pups last Tuesday, we wanted to finish off our last home game of our junior school career on a high. On Saturday was the last time ever we were going to play together as a team at fortress SACS. We were up against a very physical Rondebocsh side, who were up for a long and hard hour of rugby. We won the toss and decided to receive the ball. After a matter of seconds, we managed to break the line and score through a great backline move. After this, a few silly mistakes cost us, with them feeding off our mistakes and scoring a try. Half time score 12-12

The second half started off weak with us getting bullied up front. After a few stupid mistakes, we allowed Rondebocsh back into the game. The stern talk eventually came from Mr. Marshall and we were determined from then onwards, that we wanted it more and after a few strong phases we managed to get 2 tries back, winning a close match. Full time score 24-22 to SACS.
