16a vs Stellenberg

In 1stXV MATCH REPORTS, High School, Other Teams

After an excellent week of preparation, this team took to field full of confidence. Although up 8 nil at half time, we all were in agreement that the breakdown was an issue and that the team could change up a gear. They certainly did that in the second half, after conceding only their 3rd try of the season through an intercept. Yanga Tolashe’s try was certainly one of the better individual tries I have witnessed. This came from a loopy run by fullback, Michael Ravenscroft, who passed down the line to unleash speedster Yanga. SACS came out winning 37-7. But the true test for this side is coming up on Saturday when we travel to Stellenbosch to play Paul Roos. Rain is expected later in the week, which will take some speed off the game, but this team will certainly be prepared.
