SACS Percy Montgomery Rugby Foundation Golf Day

The SACS Percy Montgomery Foundation hosted their inaugural Golf day at Royal Cape Golf Club on Friday. The fundraising initiative was necessary thanks to Covid-19 rendering the Foundation unable to raise funds from their food truck for the last two years. The Foundation supports underprivileged boys who attend SACS, assists with the purchase of necessary equipment as well as facilitating the upskilling of coaches through various coaching courses.

The Golf Day was a huge success with 120 players enjoying an entertaining day on the course. Massive thanks to Andy Kalis who did the majority of the organization as well as the Foundation Trustees, especially Hazel Lategan, for her tireless work on the day.

We plan to make this an annual event, so look out for correspondence early next year.
