11a match report from Durbanville tournament

In 1stXV MATCH REPORTS, Junior School, Other Teams

On Saturday morning the U11A team was invited to play in the Durbanville school tournament, there were quite a few schools attending, some from as far as George.

Our pool consisted of George South, Brackenfell and Bishops, the game was played as 2x 8 min half’s and no kicking for posts. We managed to win all our pool games. We then played Outeniqua primary school in the quarter finals, and won. By the time we got to the semi-finals we were feeling tired and sore, but with Mr Faure and Mr Wilmans and the SACS parents giving us lots of encouragement, we played a very strong Gene Louw team, unfortunately we lost 2 tries to 1.

Well done to the team on a great effort, and thank you to the coaches and parents who made the trip to Durbanville.
